College life

I have been to this college for five months.

When first day I came to University，I saw many trees here and I really feel that the school is very good，but at the first sight of the dormitory，something disappointing come up to me! The condition of the dormitory is really very poor with only one room, no lavatory. But it doesn’t matter, I will get myself better.

And then I came to my dormitory 203.I considered that I would spend four years here and my dorm mates are all there. Most of them came from Beijing and they were chatting with a happy voice.

After I came here, I found out the college life is quite different to what I imaged. Teachers don not like the teachers in high school，they are more like to help us study than tell use what to study. The study in college is more difficult and more independence。We have much more free time than we have had in High school. In the free time, I would like to participate in school activities. I have several good friends and roommates. We did not each other before we came here. Now, we are part of each other's life. We study together, talk about our dream and share our life together.

I love my college life.

Sports

All over the world people enjoy sports. Sports help to keep people healthy and happy, and to live longer.

Sports change with the seasons. People play different games in winter and summer. Swimming is fun in warm weather,but skating is good in winter。

Some sports are so interesting that people everywhere go in for them. Football，for example，has spread all over the world. Swimming is popular in all countries near the sea or in those with many rivers. Some sports or games go back thousands of years, like running or jumping. Chinese wushu，for example，has a very long history. But basketball and volleyball are rather new. People are inventing new sports or games all the time. Water skiing is one of the newest in the family of sports.

People from different countries may not be able to understand each other，but after a game together they often become good friends. Sports help to train a person's character. One learns to fight hard but fight fair, to win without pride and to lose with grace.

Friends

Friends are important. It has often been said that,” no man can live like an island”. As our population increases in size, this is becoming increasingly true. A person will have trouble coping with society without friends.

Friends should not be confused(困惑的) with acquaintances. Acquaintances are people whom you may see often. But, you could never share weal(幸福) and woe(悲哀) with an acquaintance. Acquaintance are usually with you for what they can get. Maybe, they like to be with you because you are popular. People usually have few friends and many acquaintances.

Friends are always there when you need them. They are dependable(可靠的) and responsible(需负责任的) they share your sorrow(悲痛) and happiness. They are not interested in what they can get from you. They influence your development, maturity(完善) and sense of responsibility. They also warn you when you are in danger of doing wrongly. Yes, friends are wonderful. It is nice to enjoy the warmth radiating(散发) form good friends

Food

Usually , maybe you eat many foods , for example , ham , dumpling , hamburger and so on . Which food do you favorite in these foods ? I tell you I like to eat jelly .

If you ask me why you like to eat jelly , I will tell you a story !

Remembered , that was the time of the final examination of one grade , I got a good grade , Mum said she put a premium on me , so she decided to take me to go shopping in the supermarket . When we got the sock district of the supermarket , I looked for the foods that I liked to eat , suddenly , I saw many children were choosing the jelly , so I walked there with interest , and I found the packing of the jelly was very nice , from the outside , it was very transparent , bright and fresh color , and it made me lick my chops . So I shouted my mother , and asked her but a few kilos of jelly for me . When we walked into our house , I took out them right now , and peeled the packing , and then put it into my mouth , and I felt it was very delicious and I did not forget it until now .

From now on , I really like it , and I felt very empty in my mind and uncomfortable if I do not eat it .

I have the deep feeling for the jelly , if my fellows come to visit to my home , I prefer to take out other something to eat for them , not the jelly , from this point , I think I like the jelly especillay . I will say to the jelly : “ jelly , jelly , I love you , as the mouse like the rice ! jelly , jelly , I love you , as the black bears like the honey ! “ My favourite food is the jelly , not only it made me eat with joy , but also I realized the happiness when I tasted it。

Health

It is clear that health is the foundation of one's future success. If you get sick, it is nearly impossible to pursue your career effectively, much less make your dreams come true. On the other hand, if you are stout and strong, you can go all out to overcome the obstacles that lie ahead of you.

Now that we know that health is the source of our energy, what should we do to maintain and enhance our health? First, we should exercise every day to strengthen our muscles. Second, we should keep regular reasonable hours. If we get up early, we can breathe fresh air. This habit can do wonders in our life. Third, there is a proverb that says, "Prevention is better than cure."

In short, health is more important than wealth. Those who are rich but love their health are no more fortunate than those who are poor. If you want your wish to come

true, you should do exercise and keep fit. Health is the most important ingredient of your success.

Shopping

With the rapid development of science and technology,living standards have been Improved. For this, I believe most of people have a rather acute sense of the change of shopping style .In fact, many people have already bought something that they like by online shopping.

As a new shopping way,online shopping is not only convenient but also helpful for people.Why do I think so?On the one hand, online shopping doesn’t need you to pour a lot of time and energy into buying things.If you go shopping in this way,you will spend a few minutes in cho osing the things that you need online instead of going out.Nowdays,we are busy studying as well a s working, so that we have less time to go out for shopping.

Moreover, online shopping doesn’t need us to get the things in person. On the other

hand, online stores can provide various goods to satisfy our endless need. Besides,we can

From above, we can know that online shopping has good effect on our life,but every

It is easy to on-line, so we can use the internet whenever we need.

The internet like a thick dictionary which can help us search much more information. With th e help of the internet we can save our time and we don’t need waste our energy on the same thing. We can find all kinds of information from the internet. We just need type keywords in the form, without a minute, then we can easily find the information we need.

Nowadays we can talk to others face to face on the internet by the video.
