有些动词既可以跟动词的-ing形式又可以跟不定式作宾语,但意义有明显区别,归纳如下:

一remember,forget,regret (遗憾)

跟动词的-ing形式时表示动作已经发生;跟不定式表示动作尚未发生。

例如:Don’t forget to tell Jim about it

别忘了告诉Jim这件事。(未告诉)

I forget telling Jim about it.

我忘了曾经告诉Jim这件事了。(已经告诉他了)

二stop ding sth. 停止正在干的事; stop to do sth. 停下来去做另外一件事
