We experience many different things in everyday life. We gain something valuable from them ,and then we know how to get succeed.

When we make a mistake, we have to figure out how to fix it .Experience is the best teacher because it helps us aware of our mistake so that we can learn how to avoid it in the future.

I firmly stand behind the belief that “experience is the best teacher ”.All aspects of life can be taught, but to fully understand a situation that I feel you need to experienced it. Examples where experience is the best teacher are: sky diving, playing a musical instrument, driving a car and even becoming a parent. While someone can teach you how to do these things, you still need to learn from the first-hand experience to understand the concept.

Many times as teachers would know, when you teach a pupil something and he nods his head ,and says,“Yes ,I know”.And ask him the next day ,there is a high chance that he has forgotten. If he is learnt by an experiment or by experience, he is likely to remember for a very long time, even adulthood.

The experience tells me: when work is a pleasure, life is a joy! When work is duty, life is slavery. If you don’t try, how do you know which T-shirt is much more suitable for you? If you don’t try, how do you know

whether what ones said id right? So only experience can tell you answer. From elementary school to now ,we have learnt so much knowledge, but actually we can just make a little of them into practice. Perhaps we know something about one thing ,but we don’t know how to do it, or how to do it well. Experience without learning is better than learning without experience

Finally, I want to repeat my point again, there is nothing better than experience ,experience is the best teacher.

We gain knowledge in different ways. We gain it from books or by doing something. The knowledge gained by doing something, is experience. What we learn through experience is more lasting than that acquired through reading. It is accurate, complete and permanent. It is first-hand knowledge.

Learning is nothing but understanding the world around us. Books , no doubt are a great source of knowledge as it gives us an idea about a particular subject in detail. The knowledge gained through books alone cannot help anyone, because what one learns through the books should be put into use. For instance,a person who wants to drive the car on the roads, it would be a waste of time if one just reads the books and does not use them for practical purpose.

Learning through experience is always different from learning through books. Such as the same example of a person wanting to drive a car. Even if he goes through every book that is available on driving, still it cannot quality him as an expert driver. This is because of the fact that books about driving can only teach people traffic rules and provide solutions on how to handle certain situations. The situations faced by a driver could be

totally different from what he had learnt from a book.

Learning through experience can also be more effective than learning through books because one does not envision everything on his own, but is given a chance to experience the reality. Moreover, any book is actually an account of past experiences, It’s based on the experiences of people who tried to develop a new idea. The book are their experiences, telling us what they already have tried. They help us to concentrate on their failures and to correct them, but they can’t teach us everything we need to know. We have to practice on our own.

Books are like a guiding light in one’s pursuit for knowledge. But it is left to everyone of us to experience the first hand and learn new things. So experience is the best teacher.

Hello, Everyone! Today, the topic of my speech is “Experience is the best teacher”. It has often been said that there’s no better teacher than experience. So how does a student of English learn the lauguage through experience? Obviously, to “ experience” English, you’ll have to use it as often as possible. That is why more and more teachers use role plays, daramas and field trips to teach Englsih. What you see, hear and feel will more likely impress you deeply than what you read in a book.

So as we can see, the best way to learn a foreign language is to learn it through experience. If you have the opportunity to take part in a school drama one day, you will probably try to memorize your lines to perfection. If you are anything of an actor, you will probably say your lines with emotion. In other words, you may “experience” the use of the language as

it is really used in everyday life. Only when you start to experience it can you finally learn from it. For example, a child won’t stop playing with fire until he gets burnt on his finger. He learns from his own experience. So all in all, experience can help us solve many problems and we can’t do many important things without experience. So we can say experience is the best teacher.
