SUP3R CAR geared up!

In this bonus chapter, you will modify the SUP3R CAR to make

it faster! Using gears, you can increase the speed of the driving

wheels. The program needs to be modified as well. Actually,

only the Drive My Block must be changed, to accommodate for

the wheels change of position and direction of motion. Find out

editing the

Drive My Block

You should edit the Drive My Block, because adding the

gears changed the position of the rear wheels. In particular,

you must change the values of the two Constant blocks.

Change the first block parameter to 77 (the half-distance

between the rear wheels is larger than before). Change the

parameter of the second Constant block to 145 (the distance

between the front and the rear wheels axes is decreased).

The gears changed the speed and also the direction of

rotation of the rear wheels. So, change the formulas of the

Math blocks by removing the minus sign in front of the a

parameter, getting the formulas v a*(1-0.017*b*c/d) and

a*(1+0.017*b*c/d).
