Step 1:Warm-up

出示四张图片,教师描述自己的房间,这四副图中有一副图是教师自己的,学生根据描述,选出教师的房间。eg: There is a clock near the photo. There is a bed in the room.学生根据关键词选出图片。

Step 2: Presentation

1.Sarah and Mike are in the Zhang Peng’s room. They are talking about Zhang Peng’s room.听听力,思考:

JOHN SNOW DEFEATS “KING CHOLERA John Snow was a famous doctor in London—so expert, indeed, that he attended Queen Victoria as her personal physician. But he became inspired when he thought about helping ordinary people exposed to cholera. This was the deadly disease of its day. Neither its cause nor its cure was understood. So many thousands of terrified people died every time there was an outbreak. John Snow wanted to face the challenge and solve this problem.
