第一节课教学课题Unit1 Helping at home

教学目标学习并掌握本单元关于日常家务劳动的词语;简单地了解一般疑问句询问他人有没有做某种家务,以及其肯定与否定的回答。

难点重点1.掌握关于日常家务劳动的词语,并发音标准。

2.了解Do you...? Yes, I do./No, I don’t.这句话的意思。

3.教学难点:能够听、说、读、写并知道如何使用日常家务劳动的词语.

过程Step1: Warm up

1.Greeting.

T: Happy Chinese New Year!

Ss: The same to you.

T: Welcome to come back to class.

Ss: Thank you.

2.Listen and sing a song to warm up: “Happy new year, happy new year, happy new year to you all, we are singing, we are dancing, happy new year to you all!...”

Step2: Presentation and practice

1.T: During the Chinese New Year, I was helping at home. I did a lot of housework. Can you

guess how do I help at home??

S:You cleared the table? You made the bed?...(学生一起参与回答)

T: Yes, I did./No, I did n’t.

2.Then the teacher shows the students some pictures about the housework, let students guess and

say:make the bed, sweep the floor, water the plants, fold the clothes, hand up the washing, set the table, clear the table, walk the dog, feed the dog.

Write these key words on the blackboard, after showing the phrases, lead the students to read them 2 times. Pay attention to their pronounciation. Correct them if they pronounce incorrect.

3. Quick Response Game: Show a picture, ask one student to say its phrase quickly and loudly.(需

要9个学生完成,表现好的将会得到奖励)

4. Ask and Answer: (Two teams to PK, run to the board to pick up the phrase and tell the class. The team first get the answer will get one point.)

Eg: T: What should I do before dinner? S: You should set the table.

T: What should I do after dinner? S: You should clear the table.

5. Let one pupil do some actions, ask and answer:(通过一个同学做动作,让学生猜一猜他在干什么,

巩固词组)

6.Let’s chant:(通过说唱形式,加深学生记忆)

Step3: Exercise

Pair work: Let them find a partner, give them 3 minutes to read and remember the phrases, then the teacher show a picture to a student, he/she should say it loudly, at the same time, his/her partner should write the phrase on the blackboard.

Step4:Consolidation and extension:

教学目标学会在特定环境中灵活运用所学句型用一般疑问句询问别人有没有做某种家务,以及其肯定和否定回答;注意主语是第三人称单数时助动词的变化。

Step2: Presentation

1.Review the phrases we have learned last class.

S1: I made the bed.

S2: I swept the floor.

T: Well, all of you are good children, you are helpful.

Step3: practice

1.Ask Ss to discus. Divide the students into groups, each group 2 students. Before the students

practice, the teacher should ask two students to make a dialog as a sample.

First give them 5 minutes to discuss, then each group come to the front to act it out.

2.Then teacher asks S2.

T: Do you set the table.

S2: Yes. I do.

T: I want to know something about your partner. Does he/ she set the table?

Ss: Yes, he/she does. / No, he/she doesn’t.

过程Step1 Warm up

一次模仿已经学过的动作单词(踢足球,打篮球,打网球,弹吉他。。。)来让学生猜测。A: (模仿某动作)What am I doing?

B: You’re swimming.

展示单词卡片,让学生说出单词,并把单词卡片贴在黑板上。

Step2 Presentation

1.一次展示每张表示运动、爱好的单词卡片,让学生说出或者由教师说出单词。学生齐声读单词,然后按小组读。把单词卡片有图的一面朝外贴在黑板上,构成一个思维导图。让学生说出中间的单词是什么,不要写出来。

2.依次指向每张新的单词卡片,学生齐声读单词。把单词卡片翻到有单词的一面,学生再次齐声读单词。

Step3 Listen and answer

1.让学生合上书本,教书介绍场景。教师说:Listen. Suzy and Stella are talking about some of these things(指向黑板)。接着老师提出听力问题:What are Lenny and Simon doing? What’s grandma doing? What are the words for all these activities?(指向黑板)。然后播放录音,学生听录音,找答案,两人一组核对答案。

2.教师让学生翻到书本60页,看活动1。再播放一遍录音,学生核对答案。在黑板思维导图中间写上sports and hobbies.

3.活动2. 播放录音,全班学生一起跟读,然后小组跟读,再两人一组跟读。

过程Step1 Warm up

用单词卡片复习表示运动和爱好的单词。教师拿一张卡片藏在身后。学生轮流猜测,如:Is it a basketball? 教师回答:Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. 才对的学生选一张单词卡片,充当教师的角色。

Step2 activities

1.让学生翻到课本61页,看活动3中的图片,注意听录音。播放第一句的录音之后暂停,让学生举手说出答案(6 basketball),作为示范。播放其余的部分,学生指答案,默默地和学习伙伴确认答案。再播放一遍录音,学生核对答案。第三次播放录音,让学生说出答案。最后让学生对每张图片中人物进行描述。

2.看活动4. 让学生注意看活动4中的图片,并说出是哪种运动、爱好(football)。教师说:quickly read the text and find the other name for this sport.学生读课文,核对答案(soccer). 接着老师问更多关于图片的问题来复习词汇,例如:Is she kicking the ball? Is she bouncing it? Can you touch the ball in the football? 接着让学生独立做练习,在笔记本上写出答案,然后两人一组核对答案,接着全班学生一起核对答案。检查学生是否理解player和goalkeeper,以及发音是否正确。

过程Step1 Warm up

1.用单词卡片复习表示运动和爱好的单词。展示一张单词卡片,如果是表示运动的,学生就站起来;如果是表示爱好的,学生就坐下。重复练习。

2.在黑板上展示单词卡片,指着其中一张单词卡片,竖起大拇指说,如:Ilove playing soccer. 指着另一张卡片,做一个相对要弱于Love的手势,说:Ilike painting. 再指着另一张卡片,大拇指朝下说:Idon’t like swimming. 重复练习,让学生说出一些句子。Step2 Activity

1.让学生翻到书本62页,看活动5. 让学生注意看身份证,检查学生是否理解ID cards.

2.使用图片预先教授driving, gardening, cooking, 并复习riding horses, singing.

3.播放录音,学生听录音,找答案,然后两人一组核对答案。再播放一遍录音,在每段录音后暂停,让学生说出答案。每说完一个答案,老师可说:Good, tell me about him/her. What does he/she like doing? What does he /she dislike doing? Does he/she like gardening?等问题。学生两人一组,用同样的方式进行问答。

Step3 sing a song

1.活动6. 让学生说出在图片中可以看到什么。让学生注意看图标,说出他们认为各图标都表示什么。播放录音,学生听录音并核对答案。在播放一遍,学生听每段歌词,指出相关的人物和动作。检查学生的理解情况。教师可以问:This person loves swimming. Who is it?

2.再播放一遍录音,这次一部分一部分地播放。学生跟唱。学生起立,再次齐声唱这首歌。把全班学生分成两组,一组扮演Simon,一组扮演Grandpa.两组轮流唱各自的部分,然后交换角色。

Step1 warm up

Talk about how do they spent their spring festival.

Step2 presentation and practise

1.Talk about the cartoons we watched during the holiday. How do they like the cartoon?

2.Lead to the key words: boring, silly, frightening, amusing, exciting, interesting, romantic, touching

3.Let the students to read the words together, pay attention to their pronounciation.

4.Play a little game: match the pictures to the right words. The students one by one come to the front to match the picture to the word. In this case, they will have a deep impress to understand what the word mean.

5.Make sentences using the words. Each student makes a sentence using one of the words.

6.Give them several minutes to remember the words, and then have a dictation.

Step3 Past tense

1.Review the past tense. 复习动词的过去式规则变化的规律,并举例一般过去式的用法。Eg: Did you watch a cartoon on the holiday?

Yes, I did. I watched Shrek.

2.介绍并讲解不规则变化的动词过去式。带读。(强调此部分需要积累)

Eg: Did you enjoyed it?

I enjoyed it very much.

过程Step1 Warm up

Step2 Activities

1. 让学生翻到书本22页,看该页上方的方框,并问他们:Do you know that…?让全班一起根据内容补全这个问题。让学生说出对于他们来讲这有多高,在墙上两处大概的长度,问他们想不想长这么高。

2. 介绍本课的话题(baseball and basketball),让学生看活动1.让学生说出他们能看见什么(a baseball field and some of the equipment the player use).让大家一起读出关于棒球的文章。学生遇到生词时,教师给予帮助。读完课文后,检查学生对生词的理解。看球部分也照此进行。最后学生自己再次读课文,将字母与数字搭配起来。学生两人一起核对答案并讨论。最后全班一起核对答案,讨论这两篇课文和两个项目的比赛。

3. 让学生看活动2. 老师先说活动要求,然后播放录音,学生先自己思考,小声地说出名字。再次播放录音,全班学生一起核对答案。

4.让学生看23页,活动3. 先请一位学生说出活动要求。学生用纸盖住22页,分成两人一组,轮流提问和回答问题。结束后让他们看书并核对答案。

Step3 Writing

让学生翻到活动用书22页,活动2. 先请学生读活动要求。在全班一起讨论足球的比赛规则,让全体学生都明白比赛如何进行。学生可以看页面上的提示作为辅助。接着学生可以在纸上打草稿,在让学生把作文写在活动用书的相应位置。

Step2 Play a game

让学生翻到学生用书24页,告诉他们是一个board game.先为学生演示如何做游戏,让他们知道要根据颜色来提相应的问题。让学生说出游戏中会用到的语言,例如:It’s m y turn. It’s your turn. You should move five squares.学生分成两人或者多人小组,轮流掷殿子,移动棋子并根据颜色回答问题。其他学生判断他们的回答是否正确。老师监督并为学生提供帮助。

Step3 Ask and Answer

1. 让学生翻到学生用书25页。看活动

2. 请一名学生读出活动要求,并让全班学生注意看示例。一名学生读问题,另一名学生读正确的回应,检查学生是否理解如何进行活动。学生独立完成活动,然后两人一组核对答案,在全班一起核对答案。在学生说出正确答案之前,让他们轮流读问题和三个选项。每次都问学生他们选择的原因。

2. 让学生翻到学生用书25页。看活动

3. 让学生看问题。学生回顾第1和第2单元,找出答案。学生可以四人一组讨论,全班一起核对答案。

过程Step1 Warm up

用表演的方式复习各种疾病:headache, stomach-ache, cough, temperature, cold, toothache.学生轮流到黑板前表演一种疾病。教师问:What’s the matter?全班学生回答:She’s got a c ough. 同时可以复习doctor, hospital, medicine等词。

Step2 Activities

1. 让学生翻到课本26页,活动1.说出他们能看到谁,并说出他生病了。告诉学生这是上周发生的事情。让学生阅读活动要求,并轮流读出四个问题,两人一组讨论答案。

2.活动2. 播放录音,学生两人一组核对答案。鼓励学生回答问题时说出完整的句子。再次播放录音,在黑板上写出周一到周日的单词作为提示。例如可以说:Tell me about Simon on Monday. 学生可以回答:He had a temperature.把这个句子写在黑板上Monday的旁边。其他依此类推。检查学生这里是否记得使用过去时。让学生注意条形框里的单词。

3. 活动3. 擦干净黑板,让学生读出活动3的要求。播放录音,第一次听时,学生小声将答案告诉伙伴。再次播放录音,全班学生一起核对答案。让学生说出每天都发生了什么事情。让学生重复重点的句子。

Step3 Exercise

让学生拿出活动用书,做26页。先让学生独立完成,教师监督,并给予相应的帮助,最后全班一起核对答案。
