Unit 8 How can I get to the nearest bank

【教学目标】

语言知识目标:学生能够掌握并运用与问路相关的词汇和句式并能根据具体语境使用祈使句给出方位指令。

语言技能目标:

听——学生能够听懂有关问路和指示相应方位的对话。

说——学生能够用how can I get to ... 等句式问询方位,并用祈使句回答。

读——学生能够读懂一般生活工作中的方位介绍。

写——学生能够写出具体语境中指示方位路线的语句,并能运用祈使句进行表达。

学习策略:学生能够运用适当的问询方位的表达解决实际问题,理解路线标志指示。

文化意识:掌握英美国家的人们在问询和指示方位时的不同表达习惯及空间意识。

情感态度:学生能够了解和运用不同语境下礼貌性求助和回答的差异。

单元任务:能够运用所学语言向同学介绍生活中的具体路线方位。通过征求意见,介绍学校附近的日常场所方位,为新同学解决实际生活中可能遇到的问题。

【教学步骤】

Period 1

Lead-in 1-2

Step 1 lead-in

1.“本单元我们将要学习关于路线方位的知识。Today we are going to learn a new unit。”

板书本单元的标题“ How can I get to the nearest bank”

2. 提问一名同学去学校食堂怎么走。“你遇到一名新来的同学,她对校园环境不熟悉,她向你询问去学校食堂怎么去。你会怎么向她指路呢”

Step 2 learn the new words

学习新单词以便接下来完成activity1。跟读两遍,学生自己读一遍,给5分钟时间学生自己记单词。再读多一遍。

Step 3 look and match (activity 1)

1.个人活动。学生先自己看图片,理解图中各个标识的方位指示含义。再阅

读右边给出的方位指示表达,与图中相应的地点进行匹配。

2.依次提问一个列学生,通过反馈给出答案并讲解。

3.打乱顺序,就图片分别提问全班同学,去各栋大厦分别该怎样走。

4.全班一起读一遍右边的方位指示表达。要求学生初步熟练掌握这些表达

法。

Step 4 look and choose (activity 2)

1.学生看图片,理解各图片所展示的方位语境。提示学生看图中的白色箭头

和图二的斑马线。

2.学生阅读给定的基本方位指示,根据图片中的语境进行搭配。

3.教师提问搭配结果,并对这些方位指示表达方法进行解说。

4.要求全班同学依次将各图片相对应的方位表达读一遍。

Period 2

Step 1 listen and tick

1.要求学生看图片,判定图片中的地点。

2.听录音,根据录音内容选择图片。

3.教师提问并讲解反馈。

4.再次逐句播放录音,讲解重点句子。

5.让学生翻到课本125页,找一下本单元学到的单词有哪些是一些地点场所

的。

Step 2 listen and complete

1.再听录音,补全对话。第一遍先全文播放,第二遍逐句播放。

2.听完后可以同桌之间讨论问题答案

3.教师提问。在黑板上写出学生说的答案。

4.如果效果不理想,可以再次逐句播放录音,与学生一起讲解及纠错。Step 3 read and underline

1.要求学生先自己阅读一遍对话,然后与同桌一起讨论并标出问路与指路的

语句。

2.提问并反馈。

3.就画出的句子“ How can I get to the nearest supermarket”延伸

出其他一些问路的句子。

Could you tell me how can I get to ….

4.讲解一遍对话。教师逐句带读一遍对话,学生跟读一遍。全班自己读一遍

对话。

1.要求学生与同桌角色扮演,分别以问路者与指路者的身份读一遍短文。

2.邀请两组学生做展示。

1.先让学生用两分钟自己看一遍听力中的句子,以便做接下来的听力。

2.教师放录音,学生根据录音内容确定问题答案。全班集体回答核对答案。Step 2 listen and judge

1.教师放两次,学生根据录音完成判断。

2.点名学生对答案,并在学生回答之后再逐句播放,和全班同学核对答案。Step 3 read and underline

1.要求学生先自己阅读一遍对话,然后与同桌一起讨论并标出问路与指路的

语句。

2.提问并反馈。

3.讲解一遍对话。就其中一些重点做分析及延伸。

4.教师逐句带读一遍对话,学生跟读一遍。全班自己读一遍对话。

境。

2.两人为一组,根据以掌握的问路和指路的表达方式结合提示进行对话练

习。学生练习时教师可以走下讲台给与学生指导与提示。

Step 1 read and underline

1.学生自己读单词,选出与其他词不同类的词或词组。

2.教师点名检查。在全班反馈。

Step 2 read and circle

1.学生自己阅读短文,在activity12 中圈出短文中提到的地方。

2.教师点名检查。

3.讲解短文,并在讲解过程中核对答案。

4.逐句教读短文。学生跟读一遍,自己读一遍。

Step 3 read and mark

1.再次阅读短文,可以与同桌一起讨论,并在图中标出从学校到医院的路线。

2.在黑板上画出图示,点名一名学生把路线标出来。教师作出反馈。Step 4 read and write

1.分析客人的目的地要求,在地图上用铅笔标出路线,然后写出正确的行走

路线。

2.确认学生独立完成后,两人一组,与同桌讨论核对路线。注意方位表述的

正确性。

Step 1 grammar focus

1. 讲解祈使句含义。.

祈使句(Imperative Sentence)用于表达命令、请求、劝告、警告、禁止等的句子叫做祈使句,祈使句最常用于表达命令

祈使句因对象(即主语)是第二人称,所以通常都省略。祈使句的动词都为一般现在时,句末则使用感叹号来表示。

2. 与学生一起分析文中的例句分别是什么语气。

3. 板书祈使句的用法。

a)肯定的祈使句:动词原形+其他。

用客气的语气表示祈使句时,可在句首或句尾加please, 但如果在

句尾加上please时,要在please前加逗号。

例如:Have a seat, please.

b)否定的祈使句:Don't + 动词原形。

1.与学生一起分析各图片中的地点。

2.引导学生以great wall为例,用“How can I get to the Great Wall”,
