CATS GRAPHICS OPERATION ( JOB DECK VIEW ) MANUL

1. CATS GRAPHICS WINDOW / MENU DEFINITION

o CATS TEXT menu - in which to type CATS command for changing any of parameters. o GRAPHICS window - in which figures are drawn. o CATS menu - that allows data to be drawn and measured.

o OPTIONS menu - from which you select choices that affect how figures are drawn. o USER menu – YOUR MENU- currently been setup major function for pallet.

CA TS TEXT menu

When you input a file in the CATS TEXT menu, the extents and block boundaries appear in the

graphics window.

Using the mouse in the GRAPHICS window you can zoom in or out, pan in any direction, select

figures to find their coordinates, and measure distances.

By default, after you DRAW, the block boundaries disappear. If, at any time, you select "Reset" in the CATS menu the block boundaries are redrawn.

Clicking “ Options “ in CAST menu opens the Options menu. Using the mouse in the OPTIONS

menu window, you can choose to draw filled figures or outlined figures, define which output

coordinate system is used, and choose to view only rectangles or only trapezoids.

Using YOUR MENU to change layers, files or chips hatch stripe and line type.

2. CTAS_TEXT_MENU

·CLEAR ( clear )– to clear the previous setup.

·INPUT ( inp )– input the job file or data file.

·EXIT ( exit )– quit from CA TS.

·LAYER ( lay )– input the layer number you wanted.

·DRAW ( dr ) – draw the pattern on Graphics window.

·FUNCTION OR( fun or )– input second job file or data file.

·SWITCH ( sw )– primary file and secondary file switch.

·JUST ORIG– adjust the original point coordinate.
