水污染既然有那么大的危害，有证据吗？答案是肯定的。

历史上著名的全球十大环境公害中竟有三件是水污染！！！它们是水俣病事件、骨痛病事件和剧毒物质污染莱茵河事件。造成的危害是巨大而长久的，给人类带来了无比的伤痛。

通过网上搜索，近些年来发生的水污染事件依旧触目惊心：

2、金矿事件：2000年1月30日，罗马尼亚境内一处金矿污水沉淀池，因积水暴涨发生温漫坝，10多万升含有大量氰化物、铜和铅等重金属的污水冲泄到多瑙河支流蒂萨河，并顺流南下，迅速汇入多瑙河向下游扩散，造成河鱼大量死亡，河水不能饮用。匈牙利、南斯拉夫等国深受其害，国民经济和人民生活都遭受一定的影响，严重破坏了多瑙河流域的生态环境，并引发了国际诉讼。

我国是一个缺水的国家，水污染问题十分突出，最近发生的水污染事件譬如2004沱江3.20特大水污染事故、2005北江镉污染事故、2005松花江重大水污染事故、2006白洋淀死鱼事件、2006湖南岳阳砷污染事件、2007太湖水污染事件等对我国的经济发展、生态平衡造成了严重的危害。

通过以上的例子，我们可以看出水污染的危害有多么严重，保护水资源有多么重要。事实已经证明：是时候行动！地球上，此时此刻正有无数的人遭受缺水带来的痛苦，包括我国在内的诸多国家正在遭受水污染的伤痛。行动起来吧！惜水、爱水、节水，从我做起。
