Protein Assay CBB Solution (5x) for determination of total soluble protein content is based on the Bradford method (principle: when CBB binds to proteins in acidic solutions, the absorbance shifts from 465 to 595nm). Bradford method is the most popular (compared to the UV method, the Lowry method, the BCA method) because of the simple and accurate.
