Judge not from appearance

Ladies and gentlemen:

Nice to see you tonight, my name is Ma Yihua, and now I want to give a speech to you about Judge not from appearance.

When a beautiful girl met a ordinary boy, she asked: “Do you have the flat, do you have the mini-cooper, how much the income of your work?” The boy said: “I’m so sorry, I have no flat, because I have a villa. I have no mini-cooper, because I have a Lamborghini, I have no work, because I have a company! Now, I guess it’s time say goodbye!”

There are so many people in the world, some are beautiful and out standing, the others are ordinary. But we have the equal rights to do what we want to do, nobody can stop our steps of advancing.

When we shopping, the shop assistant always judging from our appearances. When we hunt for jobs, the good-looking man usually gets more chances than the ordinary man. When we enter the college, the good-looking man seems make friends easier. Whatever we do, the “appearance-problem” is always here.

I dislike the people who are judge from appearance. They always think better appearance, better skill. I don’t think so. Appearance doesn’t mean anything, it is a present we got from our parents. When we put out the cloth, we are the same.

Judge a man, we should judge from skill, character, or a deep understanding, instead of appearance. If you just make friends with the good-looking man, in the end, you won’t have friend anymore.

So many good books are not read or enjoyed, it is just because the cover can’t attract the reader. And it is same with people, if you make the judgment from appearance alone, without getting to know the real person, you will lose the opportunity to start a very good friendship.

Ask yourself, you want to be the one who live in others eyes, or you want to be the one who you want to be. It is really not necessary to make yourself more beautiful by the medical method. Don’t care about others’ words, just be yourself. Insist on to the last, you are the best. Love yourself, others will love you too.

In a word, judge not from appearance, the sea cannot be measured with a small-cup. So stop judge from appearance!

和平的英语演讲稿 well, this is not how i expected to wake up this morning. after i received the news, malia walked in and said, "daddy, you won the nobel peace prize, and it is bo's birthday!" and then sasha added: "plus, we have a three-day weekend coming up." so it's good to have kids to keep things in perspective. i am both surprised and deeply humbled by the decision of the nobel committee. let me be clear: i do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of american leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations. to be honest, i do not feel that i deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who have been honoured by this prize – men and women who have inspired me and inspired the entire world through their courageous pursuit of peace. but i also know that this prize reflects the kind of world that those men and women, and all americans, want to build – a world that gives life to the promise of our founding documents. and i know that, throughout history, the nobel peace prize has not just been used to honour specific achievement; it's also been used as a means to give momentum to a set of causes. and that is why i will accept this award as a call to action – a call for all nations to confront the common challenges of the 21st-century. these challenges can't be met by any one leader or any one nation. and that's why my administration has worked to establish a new era of

One should never judge a person by external appearances. Use specific reasons anddetails to support your answer. Model Essay(范文): In most cases, one should never judge a personby external appearances. Sometimes when I walkdown the street at night, I avoid people who areacting tough and loud, but in general, I prefer toreserve judgment until I get to know someone. Judging someone by external appearancecan be deceptive. Judgments based on external appearances prevent you from getting toknow a person reinforce stereotypes, and are superficial and limiting. In high school, I stayed away from students who were called the "bad students" becausethey dressed a certain way. I wanted nothing to do with them. I later had the chance to meetone of these "bad students" because of our mothers, we started talking and I realized that wehad a lot in common. My impression of him was very different once I got to know him. If you form an opinion of someone based on stereotypes, you risk never getting to knowsomeone who is different. You may are be missing out on an opportunity to make a goodfriend. In addition, you are reinforcing that stereotype by believing it without given the persona chance. If you take the time to get to know the person, you might become friends. Judging people by external appearance is superficial and often unfair. After all, you don'tknow what circumstances the person might be facing or who the person really is. Perhaps theperson comes from a less fortunate family than you and cannot afford the kind of stylishclothes your friends wear. However, that does not mean the person is less intelligent orinteresting than you are. People should not be naive about new people they meet, but should take time to get toknow them. External appearance often does not tell us anything about a person. Judgingsomeone by their appearance is misleading, reinforces stereotypes, and is limiting. Doing socould prevent you from making a true friend.

English speech Good afternoon everybody! It's my honor to speak here and I am very glad to share my topic with all of you. Today I'd like to talk about “my dream”. I do not just have one dream, in fact, I have three. They are: a healthy life, a happy family and to travel my great country. I have always admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They are older than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! How do they do that! My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why they can remain healthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. Perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. My grandmother once told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house”. I want to live a long, healthy and happy life just as they have.

City Life and Suburban Life 1. (1)In recent years more and more homes are being pushed outwards as the activities of business, government and pleasure tend to be concentrated in the centers of the cities. (2)Although most people are reluctant to move to the outskirts of the cities, I feel like living in the suburbs. (3)It is true that the city can provide much convenience and entertainment, the very reason people can’t bear to part with city life. (4)But the cost for the privilege of living in the city is also high. (5)Just think of the places where we live, full of petrol fumes and toxic gases, torn by the roar of buses and lorries day and night, and thronged ceaselessly by great crowds. (6)Besides, as the housing problem in the central city gets more serious, people have to pay high rents for very tiny flats which I would certainly disdain to live in. (7)In contrast, living near the countryside one can enjoy the clean atmosphere, the closeness to nature and the quiet, peaceful surroundings—the essentials of a healthy life. (8)Nothing can be compared, as the pace of modern life is getting quicker, with the first cock crow, the twittering of birds at dawn, and sight of the rising sun glinting on the trees and green fields. (9)Although living in the suburbs you may suffer a little discomfort brought about by the necessity of traveling miles to work every day, the situation will change soon as many highways and subways are being constructed. (10)The new suburban life is fast becoming a predominant pattern of living in most cities; and with the development of traffic and the perfection of services, it will prove to hold great superiority over city life. Newspaper as a Better Source of News 1. (1)For most of us today, television has become our main source of daily news. (2)This is unfortunate, however, because for several reasons newspapers should be regarded as a better source. (3)It is true that television news can vividly bring into our living rooms dramatic events of singular importance, such as space launchings, natural disasters, wars and so on, but it can not cover important stories in the depth they may deserve because of its time limitation. (4)On the contrary, print news excels in its ability to devote as much space to a story as it sees fit, though it can not compete with television visually. (5)Besides, television is essentially a passive medium. (6)Whether we like a particular piece of news or not, all we have to do is sit in front of the tube and “let it happen”. (7)But a newspaper reader can select what he is interested in, skip what he
