DESCRIPTION
JW7710 is an active damper controller combined
with an external switch, which eliminates input current oscillation. When TRIAC turns on, the chip drives an external switch to short the damping resistance after turn-on delay and switches it off as soon as the voltage drops below the UVLO threshold.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The JW7710 supports operation in a very wide input range. When TRIAC is on, the chip starts to drive an external switch after turn-on delay and switches off as soon as the voltage drops below the UVLO threshold.
Turn-On phase
When TRIAC turns on, the chip starts to drive an external switch after about 300us turn-on delay. After the miller platform, the switch is fully on. Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO)
When VIN drops below the UVLO threshold, the chip is shut down and the GATE pin voltage is discharged to zero.
Reliability Function
600V high voltage process significantly enhances the safety and reliability of the system, and greatly simplifies the design of the peripheral circuit.
