Unit 2 What traditions do you have at Spring Festival?

大家好,我这次上课内容是英语(新标准)初中七年级下册Module2 Spring Festival的Unit 2What traditions do you have at

Spring Festival?,说课内容主要包括六个方面:教材内容分析、学情分析、教学目标、重点难点、教学方法和学习方法、教学程序。

一、教学内容分析

本模块以节日为话题,通过听读有关春节内容的对话和短文,使学生能够谈论或写出对该节日的介绍,并鼓励学生英语国家中重要的节假日极其主要庆祝方式。本模块的学习策略主要是通过词汇分类来帮助学生提高学习效率,形成自主学习的能力,为学生的终身学习奠.定基础。课型:Reading and writing

二、学情分析

由于新学期才开学不久,而且学生刚过完春节,学生非常熟悉中国春节的许多习俗,因此这是一个让学生非常熟悉和感兴趣的话题,理解和使用起来是相当容易的。在七年级上册学生已会熟练地使用一般现在时,且在这册的Module1和Module 2 Unit 2中他们已理解和会使用现在进行时,因此,这一课,是进一步了解一般现在时与现在进行时的区别。

三、教学目标

1.知识和技能目标

(1)词汇:掌握tradition, bad luck, paint, mean, decorate, decoration,

paper cut, everyone, haircut, give, dumping, sweet, fireworks, few, a

few, want, week, round, all the year round, bring, colour ,

something, cut, Christmas等词语,

并围绕节日话题,运用所学词语来讲述中国人过春节的习俗,以

及西方重要节日---圣诞节的一些习俗。

(2)语法:现在进行时的问与答,一般现在时。

(3)技能:能读懂有关节日描述的短文,并能将段落与图片、段落与问题匹配;学会写要点和句子;能向人们介绍春节或其他中外节日。

2.情感目标:乐于了解英语国家重要节日,乐于参与相关英语实践

活动。

学习策略:借助word map 分类学习和记忆单词,并能积极探索适合自己的记忆英语单词的方法。

文化意识:了解英语国家重要节日的主要庆祝方式。

四、教学重点和难点:

运用文章中的重要词语、语段描述春节;用书中所给信息介绍圣诞节。

五、教学方法和学习方法

(一)教学方法:

1、充分利用学生已有知识和经验,创设生活化的真实情境和半真实情境,引导学生在运用语言中学习语言,然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言.(为用而学,学了就用)

2、开展各种任务教学活动,给学生提供交流合作的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究学习。

3、看听说和动手相结合。

我在处理词汇和课文阅读时都采取了看听说和动手进行配对的手段,力求使得有不同学习习惯的学生都能够在课堂上找到兴奋点,积极投入到学习活动中。

4、分组活动。

我在座次上将学生分成马蹄形环绕的五个小组,便于组内成员进行交流合作。同时,在进行活动安排或者问题解决时也是按照小组进行任务分担的方式,便于提高学生合作欲望和防止任务过重或者繁复给学生带来倦怠感,也可以利用组内差和组间差调动学生学习积极性和优化学习资源。

5、设置问题情景,采用问题引导的方式让学生完成阅读。

(二)学习方法:

1、Communicating and cooperating.(沟通和合作法)

让学生就问题与组内成员进行讨论,互助合作,提高学生学习热情,让他们明白学习英语如果“闭关自首”是很难得到快速和有效的知识与能力的,而与他人合作,英语学习将变得有趣和有意义,才能学以致用。

2、Task learning method (任务学习法)

让学生带着阅读任务去阅读,这样,他们的阅读就有目的性,进而提高学习效率。

3、Problem learning method(问题学习法)

这堂课大部分是采取问题的方式来消化知识和完成任务的,学生通过脑中携带问题,寻求问题解决方法,和找到问题答案完成学习过程。

4、To encourage students to study English spontaneously and independently after class(鼓励学生课后独立,自发地学习英语)

六、Teaching Procedure(教学过程)

Step 1. Warming- up

活动1.:Free talk:

1.How many festivals do you know in China?

2.Which festival do you like best? What’s the biggest festival in China? Do you like it?

3. What’s the biggest festival in China? Do you like it?

活动2:show some pictures about the spring festival春节图片

And lead out the topic---the spring festival.

T: Does the cartoon make you happy? What’s it about? S :….

T: what do we do on the spring festival? Ss:

设计意图:播放有关春节习俗的相关图片,激发学生兴趣,另外教师在通过问题,“What traditions do you have at Spring Festival?

让学生思考过春节的传统习惯。通过问题进入本课重点,帮助学生呈现本课即将所学话题

活动3.T:well done , do you preview the passage in unit 2? Let’s see some other videoes about the new year and say out the actions in English when you see or hear the certain introduction.有关春节的习俗

Ss: see and speak.

T: speak together with the students and write them on the blackboard.

设计意图:在真实的影像中检查预习,学习新词汇,为全文阅读扫除障碍,激发学生兴趣。

Step 2. Fast- Reading

活动:Match the pictures with the paragraphs.

S: Do it individually and then check it in pairs.

T: Call back the answers from the whole class.

设计意图:在这个环节让学生快速阅读、教师指导、通过匹配段落大意来检测学生对篇章的理解程度。

通过快速阅读,让学生对全文有一总体印象,并注意培养学生在阅读过程中掌握浏览、跳读等阅读技巧。

Step 3 Careful—reading

活动1:Read these paragraphs carefully.

And then answer these questions.

Read the last paragraph and check the true sentences

设计意图:第二次阅读本段,旨在使学生掌握篇章细节信息,并通过

Step 4 Talking

We should love Spring Festival .And then I will call some students to say something about Spring Festival.

活动:talk about Spring Festival according to the following questions and the table above along with the video they have seen.

S: Describe Spring Festival according to the word map, first to a partner, then to the class.

设计意图:使用重要词汇、图片和主要信息,给学生足够的时间讨论春节习俗、描述春节,让学生落实到书面及口头,以达到学生巩固课文内容,对所学知识做到更好的输出,和培养学生的扩展能力。 Step 5. Writing

活动1. Give a short introduction: the spring festival is the most important festival in China, do you know what ’s

the most important festival in America and Britain?

活动2:put the notes under the headings

To write a passage describing Christmas in Britain. Use the headings as a guide. And try to get more information from the website

设计意图: 通过文本及视频更多的了解圣诞节的情况,更深刻理解一些传统节日对人们的意义。
