Paragraph 1., amend to read:
"1. SCOPE
This Regulation applies to tyres, incorporating retro-reflecting devices, for vehicles of category L1 1/ and cycles.

Paragraph 2., the reference to footnote 1/ and footnote 1/, renumber as footnote 2/.
Paragraph 2.1.3., amend to read:

"2.1.3. Retro-reflecting
Means a tyre incorporating retro-reflecting device moulded on to each sidewall of the
tyre in order to provide a visual impression of circles of light and to give easy
recognition of two-wheeled vehicles."
Paragraph 5.4.1.1., the reference to footnote 2/ and footnote 2/, renumber as footnote 3/ and amend to read:

Subsequent numbers shall be assigned to other countries in the chronological order in which they ratify or accede to the Agreement Concerning the Adoption of Uniform Technical Prescriptions for Wheeled Vehicles, Equipment and Parts which can be Fitted and/or be Used on Wheeled Vehicles and the Conditions for Reciprocal Recognition of Approvals Granted on the Basis of these Prescriptions, and the numbers thus assigned shall be communicated by the Secretary-General of the United Nations to the Contracting Parties to the Agreement."
