一、语义转换题——跳读查找法这是做事实细节题最基本也是最常用的方法。在通常情况下,细节题主要考查考生对某句话或某几句话的理解,同学们若能根据题干内容从原文中找到相关的句子,然后进行比较和分析,便可确定最佳答案。

运用跳读查找法时,同学们要特别注意试题(包括选项)与原文之间的适当变换。根据近几年的考题情况来看,现在很少有直接用原文中的句子进行考查和测试的,而通常要进行一定

的处理。而这种“处理”主要就是指进行语义转换,其中包括同义变换、概念解析、归纳事实等。比如第57小题,细节理解题。从正文的第三段开始两句话“Suddenly the postman was a regular at the Hagadorn house. 三、细节排序题——首尾定位法

这种试题要求考生根据动作发生的先后顺序和句子之间的逻辑关系,找出事件发生的正确顺序。同学们在做这种题时可采用“首尾定位法”,即最先找出第一个动作和最后一个动作,迅速缩小选择范围,从而快速选出正确答案。

四、寻找信息题——题干定位法快速寻找信息题一般为功能阅读题,主要形式有广告、公告、演出信息、航班时间表等。做这类题时没有必要阅读全文,宜采用“题干定位法”。

When times get tough, we all look for ways to cut back. When we‘re hungry, we eat at home instead of going out. We take buses instead of taxis. And we wear our old designer jeans just a few months longer. With college expenses at all-time highs, high school students are eager to do

anything to cut the cost of a university education.

One cost-cutt ing proposal is to allow college students to get a bachelor‘s degree in three years instead of four. Educational institutions have been actively exploring ways to make the learning process more efficient. But there‘s a question: Would the quality of underg raduate education suffer? Few US universities have formally approved a ―three-year degree‖ model.

I doubt that mainstream North American colleges will carry out a three-year curriculum any time soon. For one thing, most universities already allow highly qualified students to graduate early by testing out of certain classes and obtaining a number of college credits. In addition, at famous universities, the committee who determine which courses are required and which courses are electives are unlikely to suddenly ―throw out‖ one quarter of the required credits. In my opinion, a quality four-year education is always superior to a quality three-year education. A college education requires sufficient time for a student to become skilled in their major and do coursework in fields outside their major. It is not a good idea to water down education, any more than it‘s not a good idea to water down medicine. If we want to help stude nts find their way through university, we should help them understand early on what knowledge and skills they need to have upon graduation. We should allow students to test out of as many courses as possible. We should give them a chance to earn money as interns(实习生)in meaningful part-time jobs that relate to their university studies, such as the five-year co-op program at Northeastern University.

Climbing the mountain was a trial to me but my grandsons were not focused at all on the trial of climbing the mountain; they were simply enjoying the journey of the walk. I know when I face a trial in life, I tend to always think of the problem. I want the trial to be over quickly and let life get back to normal. What can I learn during the course of trial? At some point, the trial will be over and we'll be joyous for sure. However, the real joy should not be that the trial’s over, but I am celebrating what I learned during the journey. 1.
