You should start your essay with a brief description of the picture and then express your views on that the increasing use of Internet has a negative effect on the way people read and write. In the cartoon, we can see one student is surfing the Internet, attempting to plagiarize from the Internet while the other student is persuading him to copy from books. The sarcastic picture reveals that heavy reliance on Internet have seriously affected the way people read and write.

Despite the convenience Internet brought to us, it is undeniable that it lays negative influences on our reading and writing. As regards reading, few people nowadays prefer reading conventional books which allow us to be more engaged in the contents and thus get the deep reading experience. More people choose to do the often superficial reading on the Web, which reduces our attention span and makes us incapable of reading anything of length or requiring deep concentration. When it comes to writing, the easy access to reading resources will makes us slide into thinking without independence and even copying others’ compositions. In addition, writing via the internet makes typing rather than writing by hand rank first and gradually drives our writing skill out of practice.

From my perspective, the bad effect of the Internet can be largely alleviated when we make the most of the reading and writing resources the Internet provides and sticking to reading and writing with our heart and head.

There’s a couple in the picture, in which the man is te lling his wife not to believe what is said online while this valuable advice is just from an online article he just read. The picture points out a sarcastic dilemma that everyone of us are facing today, that is, our increasing reliance on Internet news and our lack of judgment on those news.

It brings us to rethink the tragedy that a college student Wei, who trusted the fake doctor showed online, missed the chance to save his life. So much fake information are there online, some of which are posted for cheating money and others are to spread the panic out of thin air, that it’s of great importance to learn to judge the quality of that, in case we would lose money and even something more valuable. There’ re also articles online showing wrong values and inappropriate opinions that may confuse us, misleading us to make a wrong choice.

In all, almost everyone has easy access to writing articles online and that’s why we have to rationally judge the quality of information, taking the good and discarding the bad.

As most people spend a major part of adult Life at the place of work, job satisfaction is an important part of individual well-being. What are the factors that contribute to job satisfaction? Are all the expectations for job satisfaction realistic?

The factors which contribute to job satisfaction, in my perspective, are no more than two main aspects—salary and the prospects of career development.

Firstly, the priority should go to salary. Why do we go to work? The most important reason must be money. I t’s no denial that everyone wants to live a better life. So it’s ideal that our salary can match well with our effort and our contribution to the corporation. Secondly, the prospect of career development is equally important. When young graduates look for a job, they may consider the room for future development as one of the crucial elements. As far as they are concerned, salary is just temporary while the potentiality of the job is a long-term investment. And there are also some other expectations to job satisfaction, such as a harmonious working atmosphere, a mild boss, competent colleagues and so on.

But sometimes you will find that not all the job expectations are realistic. For example, not all your colleagues are as intelligent and cooperative as you are. When one encounters such cases, it’s better to adjust himself/herself, prepare for the worst, and work utmost for the best.

To me, “When you choose to see the good i n others, you end up finding the good in yourself” is always the case. If you learn from others rather than envy them, you will realize your own shortages and merrily perfect yourself.

Though childish, I deem my crush began at junior school, and it was inevitable to hate my “rival in love”, a pretty girl with plenty of chasers. I never communicated with her, yet sometimes spoke ill of her. After entering high school, passion faded and soon I forgot that boy. That girl, however, became my classmate. It was she that talked to me first with a lovely smile. I witnessed the way she behaved, and her manners explained why she was that popular. I felt glad to be a friend of her, from whom I learned about getting along with and appreciating others. Now, whenever I am praised for being considerate, humorous or cute, I would think of her, the one who makes me appreciate and ameliorate myself.

Only when you appreciate others can you enhance yourself, and only when you enhance yourself will you find the good in yourself.
